A question is raised whose voting and who voted in the last election? A hand full of hands goes up with patrons looking around. The music plays on and Host Jessica Michaels comes back on stage.
In the back, Tucson Queer Story is set up offering keepsakes and readable merchandise to any coffee table wishing to bring them home. A banner is in front of the table and a Traditional Rainbow Flag draping down.

On the University of Arizona Campus the Pride of Arizona preps for UCLA. The Band Director speaks of coming trips to Disneyland and beyond with a home game against UCLA followed by a road trip up the PAC12 coast.
A few weeks until Band Aid Weekend. A Band Aid is all of those people helping with local music not performing . Many work for tips, meals and entrance to events, sometimes its volunteer. The Pride of Arizona will be looking for a Band Aid Host . Tonight unknown to fans a parachuter will enter the game and a new mural bringing awareness to Veteran Suicide will unveil on Arizona Stadium.
At Reid Park , political campaigns line the gates. I'm speaking with the Berney Camp located near the volunteer entrance , republicans and green party members are by the PRIDE Ticket booth.
A cop car is near by taking pictures, a recruitment Humvee is inside . Inside the Pride Cage drinks are in most hands . A stage of the who's who of the LGBTQ Community rocks the venue and shares stories of the walk the community travels. Over 400 vendors making up corporations and non profits line up the isles offering deals, information , merchandise and keepsakes. Flags are painted on faces and worn as capes. A voice blares over the park announcing that all debts have been paid off ,so have the fees with the event and all purchases will now be going to create surplus futures benefiting the community over the next year so party on. A cheer erupts and investors give silent looks to each other upon hearing this.
This is the time we are living in. Tucson diverse and inclusive, open hearts open minds , hands coming together. Condoms were free ,so was conversation, the gate was twenty and volunteer options available to those who cant pay.
